NP Admissions
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Acute Care Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner(ACAG) programs are transitioning from the Masters in Nursing (MSN) to the Doctor of Nurse Practice (DNP) degree offering. The last MSN cohort will start in May 2021.
Pending UTC approval, our first DNP cohort for both tracks will start in August 2022. At this time, if you wish to apply to either DNP program, please proceed with completing the MSN application. No students may be enrolled in the DNP degree offering until it is approved.
Applications completed under the FNP and ACAG programs will be converted to the DNP application cycle and applicants will be considered for entry into the DNP track for the respective program.
Students seeking admission into the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Nurse Practitioner Concentration in either the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Adult Gerontology (ACNP-AG) or the Family Nurse Practitioner Lifespan (FNP) specialties must meet the admission requirements of both the Graduate School and the UTC School of Nursing.
