“I love visiting Signal Point on Signal Mountain.”
Have you changed during your time at UTC?
I came to UTC to escape the inevitable fate of being in manufacturing. Since then, I have found a lucrative and happy career in the defense industry.”
What opportunities have you had to gain other skills?
“My thesis prepared me for my current careers.”
Best part of going through the graduate program?
“In truth, the learning and practical experience I obtained while working through my studies.”
Advice for any incoming graduate students?
“Don’t be afraid to get your Master’s degree. The work is hard, and you’ll have many long nights. But if you enjoy a good thought-provoking challenge, you’ll enjoy getting your Master’s degree. Get to know the office staff and the professors. They care about your success as long as you’re willing to work for it.”
