Program Calendar

Application Process: Applications open Nov. 11, 2020. Application Deadline is April 30, 2021.

  • Applications must be received by midnight on April 30, 2021 to be considered.

Final Notification of Admission:  May 7, 2021

  • Applicants are notified of admission or rejection on a rolling basis, with final notification to all applicants by this date. As there are a limited number of spots, the selection committee must receive a signed commitment letter within one week of acceptance.

VEP Phase I:  May 24 - June 27, 2021

  • Self-study curriculum and business concept development.

  • Applicants must successfully complete this phase to be eligible for Phase II.

VEP Phase II:  July 17-24, 2021

  • Eight-day residency "Boot Camp" in Chattanooga, TN
  • Participants will depart on Sunday, July 25.

VEP Phase III:  August - December 2021

  • Follow up advising, business development support, and online peer-to-peer networking.
